True pasture-raised poultry, moved to fresh grass daily. Seasonal availability.

Pastured chickens

Chicken the Way It Should Be

Our meat birds live on pasture in mobile shelters, moved to fresh grass every single day. They eat bugs, grass, and clover along with their feed—developing flavor that grocery store chicken simply can't match.

We raise chickens seasonally, typically with batches ready in late spring and early fall. Because of the intensive daily management required and Kentucky's weather, this is a limited product.

True Pasture-Raised

Not all "pasture-raised" is created equal. Here's how we do it.

🏠

Mobile Shelters

Protected housing that moves across pasture—never stationary coops on bare dirt.

🌿

Daily Moves

Fresh grass every single day. They're never on the same ground twice in a season.

🐛

Natural Diet

Bugs, grass, clover, and supplemental feed. The way chickens are meant to eat.

☀️

Sunshine & Air

Open air, natural light, room to move. No crowded barns, no artificial lighting.

Pricing varies by batch and size. Generally, expect to pay $5-7 per pound for whole birds. We'll announce specific pricing when each batch becomes available.

We use organic practices but are not certified organic. Our birds eat organic-sourced feed when available, and our pastures are never sprayed with chemicals. Certification is expensive for small farms, but our practices exceed most organic standards.

Birds are processed on-farm or at a licensed facility depending on batch size. All processing follows food safety best practices. Birds are sold whole, fresh or frozen.
